01Who we are

This website, teevradelhi.in (“Teevra”, “we”, “us”), is owned and operated by Vraga Ventures Private Limited, a company registered in India with its registered office at E-149, Sector 41, Noida, Uttar Pradesh. We sell handwoven sarees and unstitched suit and dupatta material sourced directly from weavers.

We do not run an online checkout. Orders and enquiries are handled personally over WhatsApp, phone and email, and payment is made by UPI or bank transfer.

02Information we collect

Information you give us

When you contact us to ask about a piece or place an order — through WhatsApp, phone, email or the “find your saree” helper on our homepage — we receive:

• Your name and the phone number or email you contact us from
• Your WhatsApp display name and profile photo, if you message us there
• Delivery address and, where relevant, billing details for your GST invoice
• What you are looking for — occasion, budget range, fabric preference, sizes
• Your payment reference or transaction confirmation once you pay by UPI or bank transfer
• Any messages, questions, photos or videos you send us, including unboxing videos for a return or complaint

We do not collect or store card, UPI PIN or bank login details. Those stay with your bank and payment app.

Comments on our articles

If you leave a comment on a Journal article, we receive the name, email address and website you enter, together with your IP address, which is used to filter spam.

Information collected automatically

Our site runs on WordPress and is hosted by Hostinger. Like most websites, the host keeps standard server logs — your IP address, browser type, the pages you view and the time you view them — to keep the site secure and working. WordPress also sets a small number of functional cookies needed for the site to load correctly.

Third-party content on our pages

• Google Fonts — our typefaces load from Google’s servers, so Google receives your IP address when a page opens.
• Google reviews — we display genuine customer reviews from our Google Business listing. If you choose to leave a Google review, it is governed by Google’s own terms and appears publicly.
• Google Search Console — gives us anonymous, aggregated data about the search terms that lead people to the site. It does not identify you.

03How we use your information

• To reply to your enquiry and help you choose a piece
• To process, pack and deliver your order, including arranging domestic and international shipping
• To issue GST invoices and handle returns, exchanges and repairs
• To keep proper business and tax records as Indian law requires
• To keep the website secure and to improve it

We contact you only about your own enquiry or order. We do not send marketing messages to you individually. We share updates in our WhatsApp group, which you join yourself and can leave at any time.

04Who we share it with

We never sell or rent your information. We share it only where an order needs it:

• The weaver or vendor who dispatches your order — they receive what is needed to pack and send it.
• The courier company that delivers it — it receives your name, delivery address and phone number to make the delivery.
• Customs authorities — for international shipments, as required to clear the parcel.
• Our website host (Hostinger) and the platforms named in section 02, who process data on our behalf.
• Authorities — if we are legally required to disclose information by a valid order or to protect our rights.

05Customer stories and photos

We publish a customer’s name, words and photographs in our Customer Stories only with that customer’s consent. If you appear in one and would like it changed or removed, tell us and we will do it.

06Messaging and data outside India

We use WhatsApp (owned by Meta) as our main way of talking to you. Messages on WhatsApp are end-to-end encrypted, but Meta processes some data on servers outside India under its own privacy policy. Google, named above, also processes data outside India. By contacting us on these platforms you understand that this cross-border processing takes place.

07How long we keep it

We keep order and payment records for as long as we need them for orders, returns and accounts, and for as long as the law requires us to keep business and tax records. Enquiry conversations that do not lead to an order are kept only while they are useful, and are deleted on request.

08Your rights

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to:

• Tell you what information of yours we hold
• Correct anything that is wrong or out of date
• Delete your information, where we are not required to keep it
• Withdraw consent you have given — though we may then be unable to complete an order

To make any of these requests, or to raise a concern, contact our Grievance Officer using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.

09Children

Our site and products are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

10Cookies

We use only the functional cookies WordPress needs to serve the site correctly. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.

11Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the “last updated” date at the top. Please check back from time to time.

This policy is governed by the laws of India. Any dispute relating to it is subject to the courts of Gautam Buddha Nagar (Noida), Uttar Pradesh.
